About the Up Filer

 How does the Up Filer work? 

The patented design is quite simple & intuitive. The pivoting hanger allows for quick and easy addition and removal of items. Simply lift a hanger and add or remove an item below it. Watch this video to See how the Up Filer Works. 

 

What is the largest sized files/content the Up Filer can hold?

The width is unconstrained/unlimited. The height of content can measure up to approximately 16.5" (42cm), depending on its thickness. (Thicker content may need to measure a bit less.)

 

What are the dimensions of the Up Filer?

What materials is the Up Filer made of?

The Up Filer Original & Mini are made from solid hardwood maple & nickel plated steel.  The Up Filer Bamboo versions are made from sustainable vertical bamboo & nickel plated steel. 

 

Do I have to assemble my Up Filer?

No, it comes fully assembled with the hardware needed to mount it on your wall.

 

Is it hard to install the Up Filer on my wall?

No, it takes less than 15 minutes. All you need is a drill and screw driver. Watch the Up Filer Quick & Easy Installation Video.

Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We offer free ground US shipping on all orders. We ship to almost every country in the world, international shipping will be delivered USPS/postal to offer you the most affordable rate.

 

What Does Shipping Cost?

We offer free USA ground shipping on all orders. Shipping for international orders is calculated during checkout. Add the Up Filers to your cart, proceed to checkout, and enter your shipping address to see the cost of shipping.  If you are in the US or Canada and want expedited paid shipping you can do the same.

 

I live outside the USA, will I be charged additional customs fees & import taxes?

Most likely yes. Every country has different regulations on imported goods.  You can use this  duty calculator to get an estimate of what you will be charged when your package arrives.  We do not pre-pay or cover these fees.

 

How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped you will receive an email with tracking info and a tracking link. 

 

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We stand 100% behind the design and quality of our product and want you to be completely satisfied. If you aren’t satisfied with your Up Filer(s) for any reason within 60 days of receiving, you can return for a full refund less return shipping cost. If there is a material defect we will exchange it and make things right.

Where is the Up Filer Manufactured?

Our products are designed and manufactured in the USA.  The design is done by us in Denver, CO and we work with longtime craftsman in Wisconsin (wooden spine) and Illinois (nickel plated steel hangers) for manufacturing.

 

Who designed the Up Filer?

The Up Filer is designed and patented by Steve, Founder & Designer. The Up Filer design came from a need to organize and store projects and client work in my own studio. Read more about the Up Filer here.
